Founder
Ryan has 22 years of experience growing and operating small, mid-sized and large companies. He has deep operational expertise in general management, technology/product development, salesforce architecture and acquisition integration.
In 2019, Golden Elm acquired Sleep Management Systems, a provider of sleep testing and treatment services based outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. After growing the business through increasing the geographic footprint of the business and expanding into new channels, Golden Elm sold the business in 2025 to a strategic acquirer.
Before Golden Elm, Ryan was on the senior management team at a mobile fundraising company in the western suburbs and prior to that he ran the Direct-to-Consumer Health Insurance business unit at GoHealth in Chicago.
Ryan has also held operational and strategy roles at MillerCoors, where he helped launch MillerCoors' craft beer division, Tenth and Blake. He started his career in technology consulting.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Ryan was born, raised, and still lives outside of Chicago with his wife and two children.
